We had a blast this weekend with the Miller family! Travis was still a little timid toward everybody and it didn't help any that he didn't get his naps as long or as often as he usually does but he was still cute or so everybody kept telling me. :) Man I swear Travis and Linkin could be twins. Travis little Travis Linkin your mom and I went to Applebees for lunch the day we left and even our waitor asked if they were twins. And then some old grandma's came up and touched both of them. Man I should have put a please do not touch sign on both of them. I think that that is so rude who knows what diseases they could have spread. Travis finally got his fourth tooth to break through. Actually it broke through the first night we were at your parents house. Linkin has finally passed Travis though in weight. He weighs just a couple ounces more than Travis I know that may not seem like a lot but after you have held both of them for a while it is. :) We can't wait to see you guys next month and hopefully Travis will warm up to you guys faster than he did with your dad. He was still shy with your dad the night before we left. Luv you guys and give all the little one's a hug from us.

Well what an interesting week. Travis is getting his two top teeth in. I tried hard but you can barely see the one on the video. I feel so bad for the little man. Every time he teeths he gets really bad diaper rash and it got to the point this time where he is bleeding, poor guy. But on a more positive note Travis is learning that the little stacking cups that you gave him go inside each other and is very good putting the small ones in the big ones. Oh and he is learning that those cups stack on top of each other and now he is stacking anything he can get his hands on it is so cute. Oh and if you haven't noticed he can now stand up to our shelves and he tries so hard to get what is on top. Pretty soon I will have to be putting my collection of shot glasses somewhere else. He took his first step two nights ago. He took one step from me to his dad without holding on to anything. I know that that does not seem like a lot but it his for him. He stands up to every piece of furniture that we have now and he walks around it to get what he wants lol it is so cute. Oh and you can thank his dad for the growling. Yes his dad taught him to growl, it is actually really cute. He is getting a lot more vocal and not just at the house. Yesterday morning I had to take Travis with me to my work meeting and every time my boss opened her mouth Travis yelled. He still can't say actual english words except dada. I am trying so hard to teach him mama. O and now he chases us everywhere. Every time we try to play peek a boo with him we go behind the couch and before we can get two boos out he is crowling after us. Well that is all for this week. We are so excited to see you guys. We miss you. Love ya guys. Give everyone a hug from us.

Happy Halloween!!!

Ok so here are our Halloween pictures. Our awesome pumpkins. Our neighbors across the street have 3 kids the oldest is 5 and then the twins are 3 and one of the twins told me that we have a scary pumpkin. She walked over to Travis's and said "This one, this one is the scary one."

(Left) Travis felt left out and decided that he needed some Halloween candy too. We only had our one neighbors come and trick or treat so now we have a whole bowl of candy left over. (Bottom) That's right that is me.

(Left) Travis's scary costume.
(Bottom) Our cute little monkey, man he hated getting into that thing and out of that thing but once he was in it he was fine.

(Left) Me and Travis.
(Bottom) Travis and Travis.

(Left) Us as a family. The funny thing is that when Travis and I got into our costumes Little Travis wasn't scared at all in fact he thought that it was pretty funny.

10/25/2009

Well this weekend was a blast!!! Well ok not really. It is kind of a bummer when you go down to visit your family and 90 percent of the time not even half of them are there. But oh well we still got to see the movie that we wanted to see. It kind of sucked, my parents were suppose to put together this big bar b que while we were down and a total of two people came and they left by like 7 and my siblings both left that night about the same time. Oh and my parents are the kind of people that can not stand to sit at home and relax for more than like ten mins by 8 or 9 they were gone too. So yes that is right Travis me and little Travis were left at their house all alone for about an hour. But oh well. The little time that they had with little Travis I think they enjoyed. My family drive me and Travis up the wall and they wonder why we don't go and visit them very much. When we were leaving their huse this morning to come back home I told them that we would see them around Christmas and my dad looked at me like I ran over his dog and then when I told him that we don't have thanksgiving off he almost cried. Travis keeps telling me that my parents will learn just like your parents learned that when the kids get older and the grandkids come they will not be able to celebrate holidays on the actual days very often. Hopefully it won't take too long for my parents to learn I mean in about 9 months they will only have one minor living in their house. But oh well whatever happens happens right? But other than that Travis is doing great. Travis had a little bit of a hard time warming up to both sides of the family because Travis doesn't get to see many people other than mom and dad. We get to carve pumpkins the night before halloween and yes we got little Travis his own pumpkin I am so excited to see him have fun :). We are so happy though because although it is nice to visit family it will be nice to be at our house for the next couple weeks. Little Travis seemed to enjoy seeing both sets of grandparents though so it was worth it. Well until next week and yes next week I will have Travis in his costume. :)
