Well I am not sure if you guys have heard or not but I miscarried the baby that I was pregnant with thursday morning between 2 30 and 3 30 in the morning. It has been very tough on us as a couple but it has taught us that every baby is truly a miracle and that Travis Kent is a miracle and I was so blessed to be able to have him come out so perfect and helathy. We are still having a tough time about it we are not sure what caused me to miscarry but we are trying to get through it as best we can. We have decided that we are going to take a little break from trying not just so my body can heal itself but also because I do not want to babies in feburary that would make me go bonkers :)
Other than that we are doing great. I am going back to work tonight after having the last 5 nights off. It was nice to have some time off but it will be nice to go back to work to hopefully take my mind off what has happened a little bit.
Travis Kent is finally starting to walk a little bit. He still doesn't have it down pat but he is doing pretty good. Looks like he will be able to be in the easter egg hunt with Linkin after all. Well we hope you guys are doing good and we are excited to see you this summer. Take care and give everybody a hug from aunt Brittney and uncle Travis.
Yes, I heard what had happened. We are all so sorry for you. I can't imagine how hard a miscarriage would be to go through.
ReplyDeleteYou should know that most times it has nothing to do with you or something you did, it's your body's way of terminating a bad pregnancy. Don't put too much pressure on yourself, all will be well.
I'm glad that Travis has decided to gove walking a try. The Easter Egg Hunt should be a blast!
We are doing good. Kev and I have had a lot to deal with the last week or so. We are going to be in town from the 12-20 so we can make our house ready for renters. We have a lot of work to do, but we should be able to knock it all out. We have a friend who works for Realty Utah who is going to be a property manager for us and take care of finding and screening renters, and then keep tabs on them, so that has helped.
Life always has a curveball to throw at you when you think you've got it all under control. That's what we're dealing with right now. Hopefully after this one is dealt with we'll be able to get our summer plans finalized.
Hang in there with everything. Maybe we'll be able to see you in a few weeks. And just so you know, summer babies are the best! Love you!!
