WOW

Wow!!! Can we say slacker???!! I am sorry for not keeping up on the blog. I blame the pregnancy. I was going to wait another week to post anything, seeing as we find out what we are having on Tuesday the 19th. (I still hope for a puppy..... a baby would be ok too I guess) So much has happened between now and September... for one thing Christmas came.... and Travis Kent got so spoiled. Santa got him a bike and lots of candy. Mom and dad got him a vaccuum (he loves helping mom vaccuum now), spongebob foam mats to play with downstairs in his new play room, his first set of gold clubs, race cars, a dump truck, spongebob coloring book and crayons, and many other little things. I got a keyboard, some jewelry, song books, and a game for the wii. Travis got a new ps3, clothes, a ps3 game, and the movie avatar special edition. Then moving on to Travis Kent's 2nd birthday. Can you believe it, he is already 2? I swore up and down before he turned 2 that my son would be different, my son would be perfect and we would not have to go through the terrible 2s. Boy was I wrong. Travis Kent got clothes and a racecar for his birthday. We tried to get him to blow out his candles but all he wanted to do was grab them so mom helped a little. Travis and I are just like every other lucky parent, we did not get to skip the terrible 2's, we are living them as we speak. Lol. Then in late Febuary early March Travis's truck took a crap and decided to crack its engine block. Luckily we were just waiting for our tax money to get back. So the middle of March we went down to Salt Lake and are now leasing a brand new dark blue chevy cruze. I love it!!!!! But it is the first new car I have ever had buying or leasing so I am still trying to not be so nervous behind the wheel. Pictures of that will come next week. Then came our garden. So Travis had to clear the weeds in our back yard so that we could start the garden. And he decided to rack the weeds into 5 piles and burn the piles. So all 3 of us are outside watching the piles burn and Travis Kent and I are about 20 feet away, and Travis K pokes me and says mom.... and blows toward the fire. That is right my 2 year old was trying to blow out the fire 20 feet away and 3 times his height. What a goof ball. We were able to finally plant our peas last week and now have peas and strawberries growing. My second flower bed is coming along too. Now my biggest issue will be keeping the neighbor's kids out of my flower beds. Then came Travis's 34th birthday. Can you believe it, he is soooo oooolllldddd!!!! Unfortunately we are tight on money this month, so Travis doesn't get his birthday present from us till next month. But luckily he understands. We still had a birthday cake, and yes we let travis K blow out or should I say spit our the candles on dad's cake. I am so glad that I don't like chocolate cake because then I didn't have to share the spit covered cake with them. O the joys of being a parent. LOL. Well I better run. I will definately be posting next week on the new addition to our family. Hope you guys are doing well. We love you.
